"Barcelona" fans - another bad news.
A few weeks ago, the Catalonia team had confirmed that they had reached an agreement with their team leader Lionel Messi for a new contract, but now it became clear that not all formalities have been finalized and the most important thing is missing - the player's signature on the contract.
"Barcelona" vice president Jordi Mestre spoke on Thursday:
"Everything is agreed and we are waiting for the day when the contract will be signed. Everything is ready, we just need the signature."
"We have worked hard to achieve this goal. Everything looks good and I would be very surprised if the contract extension did not happen", - reassured the vice president.
Current L.Messi contract is valid until next summer, with a 250 million euro buyout clause.
