"Barcelona" left no hope for "Las Palmas" Eleven, "Atletico" struggled (VIDEO)

Four matches of the 18th round were played in Spain's "La Liga" on Saturday.

"Barcelona" faced off against "Las Palmas" in front of their home crowd. Luis Enrique's team left no hope for the Gran Canaria team with a 5-0 result.

The Catalan team took the initiative and dominated with the ball from the beginning of the match. In the 14th minute, Luis Suarez scored the first goal after a great pass from Andre Gomes.

The other four goals came in the second half. Lionel Messi increased the advantage in the 52nd minute, with Luis Suarez and Arda Turan scoring within two minutes.

The final touch came in the 80th minute - the fifth goal for the Catalans was scored by the rarely playing Aleix Vidal.

"Barcelona" returned to the second position and narrowed the gap to the leaders to two points. However, Madrid's "Real" team has played two fewer matches.

Meanwhile, Madrid's "Atletico" team had a tougher time in front of their fans. Diego Simeone's team only managed to defeat Seville's "Real Betis" after a tough battle.

The winning goal came in the 8th minute, with Nicolas Gaitan as the scorer. "Atletico" at least temporarily reduced the gap to the leaders to 6 points.

In the other matches, Bilbao's "Athletic" and "Leganes" as well as "Deportivo" and "Villarreal" teams ended in goalless draws.
