"Barcelona" club vice president Josep Maria Bartomeu warned potential buyers that midfielder Cesc Fabregas is not for sale.
Recently, there have been reports that former "Arsenal" midfielder is being pursued by "Manchester United." These rumors were confirmed by "Red Devils" manager David Moyes. According to some media sources, "The Gunners" would have priority if Barcelona decided to sell him.
However, the Catalan club has said a firm "no" to anyone interested in this footballer.
"We can confirm that we will not consider any offers for Cesc Fabregas. There are no possibilities to acquire him, he is not for sale," Bartomeu warned.
Earlier, the team manager Tito Vilanova also mentioned that the midfielder will stay in the team.
"I know that he has received offers from other clubs, but he told me himself that he wants to stay here and achieve great things with Barcelona," Vilanova said.
C. Fabregas returned to Catalonia in the summer of 2011 after spending 8 years with "Arsenal." He moved to the team led by Arsene Wenger in 2003.
