The Catalonia club has submitted an official list of footballers for the 2014-2015 season of the Champions League.
Since there must be 25 footballers in it, and "Barcelona" has 23 players in the main squad, the Croatian winger Alen Halilovic and the Senegalese defender Diawandou Niang Digne were also included in the list.
Both of these players were acquired by the Catalonia club in the summer, which means they could not be registered in the so-called "B list." Therefore, for the Champions League matches, A. Halilovic and D. N. Digne were assigned to the main team.
The "B list" can only include players born after January 1, 1993, who have played at least two seasons without interruption in the club's youth academy, being no younger than 15 years old.
By the decision of the Barcelona coaching staff, defenders Edgar Ie and Alejandro Grimaldo, winger Sergi Samper, and forwards Adama Traore, Sandro Ramirez, and Munir El Haddadi were placed on the "B list" for the 2014-2015 season.
