"Barcelona" president Josep Maria Bartomeu confirmed that the club does not intend to part ways with forward Alexis Sanchez this summer.
This season, the Chilean national team player showed excellent form, but was not a regular starter. Recently, there have been reports that the Turin-based club "Juventus" is seriously interested in acquiring the former "Udinese" player.
"Alexis is not for sale because he is in our plans for next season," said J. Bartomeu. "Juventus did not negotiate with us, and discussions should be held with Sanchez's agent."
Several English "Premier League" giants have also shown interest in Sanchez's services, but "Barcelona" intends to reject all offers for the Chilean.
The 25-year-old footballer scored 21 goals and provided 15 assists in 54 games played this season.
