"Barcelona" president Josep Maria Bartomeu spared no praise for Madrid "Atletico" midfielder Koke, who, according to the Catalan leader, is one of the most desired summer purchases.
This season, the 22-year-old footballer demonstrated excellent form and caught the attention of many European giants. The Spaniard has a contract with "Rojiblancos" until 2018, so the "Primera" champions will not sell him cheap.
"Koke is absolutely impressive player," said J. Bartomeu. "He had a good season and every club would want a player like him, but I am convinced that 'Atletico' does not want to sell him".
The vice-president of the Spanish vice-champions also confirmed that Javier Mascherano and Xavi will remain in the team.
"Javier is an important player in our team, and Xavi still has a contract until 2016. Both players will not leave Barcelona this summer," Bartomeu concluded.
