„Barcelona“ won the Spanish champions title for the first time since 2019.

The Catalans defeated „Espanyol“ with a score of 4:2 on Sunday and became unbeatable.

Robert Lewandowski scored for the hosts in the 11th minute.

Alejandro Balde doubled „Barcelona“'s advantage in the 20th minute.

As the first half was approaching the end, R. Lewandowski redirected the ball into „Espanyol“'s goal once again.

In the 53rd minute, Jules Kounde further increased the guests' advantage.

„Espanyol“ responded with two honorable goals at the end of the match, scored by Javi Puado and Joselu.

This defeat brought the „Espanyol“ team closer to relegation from the „La Liga“ championship.

Interestingly, after the match, the celebration of „Barcelona“ was interrupted by rival fans who stormed the field, forcing the new champions to flee.
