On Wednesday, in the 35th round of "La Liga", there was a Barcelona derby, in which "Barcelona" defeated "Espanyol" at home with a score of 1:0. The first half of the match ended goalless, and all the main events took place in the second half. In the 50th minute, "Barca" had to play with one man less after Ansu Fati was sent off the field. However, just three minutes later, "Espanyol" defender Pol Lozano received a red card as well. The only goal of the match was scored by "Barca" striker Luis Suarez in the 56th minute. This victory allowed "Barcelona" to keep their hopes alive in the fight for the championship title, while "Espanyol" lost all chances to secure a place in the "La Liga" championship.
