As "Cope" wrote, the Catalans are not planning to dismiss the 55-year-old specialist, despite their recent defeat in the semifinals of the Spanish Super Cup against Madrid's "Atletico".
After the unsuccessful match, E. Valverde had to answer journalists' questions about increasing pressure during a press conference, but the strategist replied that it is part of his job.
According to the press, "Barcelona" leaders remained satisfied with the team's performance against "Atletico", despite the loss suffered.
E. Valverde has been in charge of the Catalan team since 2017.
