In the Spanish "Primera" league, the last five matches of the 4th round were played on Sunday.
The defending champions "Barcelona" faced Valencia's "Levante" at the "Camp Nou" fortress. The visitors managed to break through Luis Enrique's players only in the second half, but they achieved victory with a score of 4-1.
In the 50th minute, Marc Bartra took the Catalans ahead, and a few minutes later Neymar increased the advantage. In the 61st minute, Lionel Messi scored his goal, albeit from the penalty spot.
"Levante" did not give up completely and in the 66th minute managed to reduce the deficit. In the 75th minute, L. Messi had a great opportunity to score his second goal in the match, but he failed to convert another penalty from 11 meters.
Finally, at the very end of the match, the Argentine managed to break the opponents' goal not only from the penalty spot. L. Messi put the final point in this match after a great run.
With 12 points, "Barca" remains the solid leader of the Spanish league, with "Real", "Villarreal" and Vigo "Celta" trailing by 2 points.
In other matches, Vigo "Celta" unexpectedly defeated "Sevilla" away, "Deportivo" lost to "Sporting Gijon" after a tough battle, "Villarreal" crushed Bilbao "Athletic", and Madrid's "Rayo Vallecano" won by a minimum margin against "Las Palmas".
