Agency representative Gustavo Mascardi revealed that "Barcelona" intended to buy Turin "Juventus" forward Paulo Dybala, but they were left empty-handed.
Even an impressive transfer fee of 80 million euros did not help the Catalans.
"It is true that "Barcelona" has been interested in Dybala in recent months and I believe they offered twice the price that the Turin team paid to "Palermo" (i.e. 80 million euros)," the representative said.
"He wants to become a more experienced player, which is necessary at the highest level," said the Italian about the 22-year-old Argentine who scored 19 goals in the last "Serie A" season.
