UEFA's decision to ignore representatives from "Barcelona" in the voting for the best football player in Europe has caused outrage within the Catalan team.
It was announced this week that the laureate will be one of the players - Gareth Bale, Cristiano Ronaldo, or Antoine Griezmann.
"Barcelona" vice president Jordi Mestre did not agree with this opinion.
"This does not seem like a fair decision. I do not know what criteria UEFA used, but I disagree.
It is scandalous when players like Lionel Messi or Luis Suarez are not included. Our club is very disappointed and angry."
Last season, Messi scored a total of 41 goals, with 59 accurate strikes attributed to Suarez.
