At the FIFA Club World Cup tournament taking place in Japan, 23 Barcelona players participated.
The head coach of the Catalan club, Luis Enrique, included all the main lineup players in the official roster for the tournament, except for the defender Rafinha who is recovering from a severe cruciate ligament injury and is not expected to play this season.
Also left in Barcelona are two new team members - Aleix Vidal and Arda Turan. These players cannot be registered by the Catalan club until January 2016 due to a FIFA-imposed ban.
The roster also includes two players from the Barcelona B youth team. They are defenders Sergi Samper and Gerard Gumbau.
Barcelona will play their first tournament match against Guangzhou Evergrande on December 17 in Yokohama.
