Having defensive problems, "Barcelona" is nearing an agreement with "Valencia" for Jeison Murillo, Catalan radio station RAC1 reports.
"Barcelona" brought in Clement Lenglet this summer, but currently only he and Gerard Pique are healthy center-backs. Samuel Umtiti and Thomas Vermaelen are facing serious issues.
J. Murillo has been playing for "Valencia" for the past two seasons, but he himself has a rather poor injury history. This season he has only played three matches, but despite the lack of options, "Barca" still wants to bring in the Colombian.
The player will not become a full-fledged "Barca" player - the goal is to loan him until the end of the season.
"Barca" understands that it is difficult to find a long-term solution in winter, so they will leave this issue until the end of the season.
