At 22:30 Lithuania time in Spain, the final of the 2016-17 King's Cup season took place.
At the "Vicente Calderon" stadium, "Barcelona" and the successful team from "La Liga," "Deportivo Alaves," clashed in the final. Luis Enrique's era at the Catalan club ended with victory - "Barca" defeated their opponents 3-1 and won the King's Cup trophy for the second time in a row.

However, the Catalans decided to settle all the formalities of the match in the first half - in the 45th minute, Neymar once again put "Barca" ahead, and during added time, Lionel Messi's advantage was increased to two goals by Paco Alcacer.
In the second half, the teams did not score any more goals, and "Barcelona" celebrated their second trophy of the season. Earlier in the season, "Barca" had also won the Spanish Super Cup trophy.
"Barcelona" won a record 28th King's Cup trophy.
