At the "Camp Nou" stadium, the champions "Barcelona" footballers started their performance in the championship. Led by Luis Suarez and Lionel Messi, the Catalans left no hope for Sevilla's "Real Betis" team.

In the 82nd minute, L. Suarez completed his "hat-trick", but soon after Ruben Castro scored a consolation goal and the match ended with a 6-2 victory for Barcelona.
