Today in the Spanish press unexpectedly spread news that FIFA sanctions for illegally acquiring underage players are likely to be faced by two capital city teams - "Atletico" and "Real".
For the same violation, "Barcelona" is not allowed to buy players last winter and this upcoming summer. According to reports, FIFA has already warned "Atletico" about this penalty, while "Real" should receive this sad news within three days.
It is believed that FIFA sanctions for Madrid teams will take effect not this summer, but in winter and summer of 2016.
During the winter, "Real" has already managed to acquire four new footballers. They are Martin Odegaard, Marco Asensio, Luca Silva, and the captain of "Porto" club Danilo. This summer, both "Real" and "Atletico" should strengthen their squads as needed, as they will face a one-year disqualification later on.
