The Ukrainian Premier League match between Donetsk's Shakhtar and Luhansk's Zorya teams on Saturday almost ended in a tragic incident.
In the 70th minute, a shocking incident occurred in which Shakhtar's legionnaire from Brazil, Taison, was injured. He fell to the ground, and his teammate trying to avoid collision accidentally kicked Taison in the shin.
Shortly after, the player started convulsing, and the medical team rushed to his aid.
Ukrainian media reported that Taison had speech problems after the incident, but now the footballer is in stable condition.
Shakhtar won the Saturday's match 4-3 and currently leads the tournament table after the first seven rounds with the same number of victories.
