"Brescia" team striker Mario Balotelli claims he has once again faced racist fans. The incident took place in yesterday's "Serie A" match when, in the second half, hearing the chants of "Verona" fans, the player decided to leave the field. Although in the end, the athlete was convinced to continue the meeting and scored a goal of comfort for the team, after the match, he expressed his frustration on social media: "I thank all my teammates who showed solidarity both on and off the field, as well as the fans who sent me messages. You can call yourselves real men, unlike those who try to deny obvious evidence." The striker's last words were addressed to "Verona" coach Ivan Juric and president Maurizio Setti, who denied the racist attacks by fans.
Mario Balotelli responded to the racist chants by kicking the ball into the stands.
