Milan Baros has extended his contract with the Istanbul club for another two years and will represent them until the summer of 2013.
Due to injury, the Czech player only played 17 matches in the Turkish championship last season, but scored 11 goals. In total, he scored 31 times in 48 league appearances.
Baros was out for almost five months due to a broken foot suffered in October. Currently, the striker is also nursing an injury but hopes to be ready for the UEFA Europa League knockout match against Ukraine's Lviv "Karpaty" team, which will take place in Istanbul on August 19.
