Basketball legend T. Parker would agree to become president of "Lyon" club.

French basketball and NBA legend Tony Parker may turn to soccer in the near future.

This season, leading the Villerban ASVEL club in the Euroleague from the president's position, the Frenchman may step down to another, perhaps even more important seat.

71-year-old "Lyon" club president Jean-Michel Aulas mentioned in a recent interview that he sees T. Parker as his successor. Such words are not said lightly - as of now, 25% of the ASVEL team shares belong to the Lyon football club.

Commenting on J-M. Aulas' statement, T. Parker said: "It is a huge honor to hear this from the current president. I understand the responsibilities that come with being the leader of such a club, but I still have enough time.

If I ever receive an offer to take over the duties of the "Lyon" president, it will be something that I definitely cannot refuse."

In 2019, T. Parker, who has sport shoes on the line, became acquainted with the responsibilities of a leader in 2009 when he also acquired a portion of ASVEL club shares.
