On Friday, the particularly interesting matches of the 20th round of the Spanish "La Liga" championship started.
The Madrid team "Getafe", showing great performance this season, met "Alaves" behind the back of Madrid's "Real". Led by veterans, the team from the Spanish capital left no hope for the opponents from Vitoria.
After the first half, "Getafe" had only a minimal advantage - the only goal from the penalty spot was scored by Jaime Mata.
At the start of the second half, the 36-year-old veteran Jorge Molina remembered his youth. In the 46th minute, the forward increased the lead, and nine minutes later, he secured the victory with a fantastic strike.
In the last moments of the match, the same J. Mata scored the final goal.
"Alaves" remains in fifth place even after the defeat. However, "Getafe", behind them, reduced the gap to one point and now joins the battle for the top four.
