Showing poor results, Leverkusen's "Bayer" decided to make changes - they parted ways with Heiko Herrlich, who has been in charge of the team until now, and hired a new specialist.
Despite the fact that "Bayer" defeated "Hertha" yesterday, the club's management was not satisfied with H. Herrlich's tactical decisions and the results of the whole season.
From the beginning of next year, the coaching duties previously held by H. Herrlich will be taken over by Peter Bosz, who is already familiar with the "Bundesliga". The specialist from the Netherlands led Dortmund's "Borussia" team last season, but his career at this club did not last long.
Due to poor results, the Dutchman lost his job in December.
Throughout his career, P. Bosz has also managed the teams of "Ajax", "Maccabi", "Vitesse", "Heracles", AGOVV, and "De Graafschap".
Heiko Herrlich has been relieved of his coaching duties at #Bayer04. Peter Bosz will take over in January.
