The Munich "Bayern" club is continuing to search for a defender.

"Sky Sports Germany" announces that the German champions are actively interested in acquiring Newcastle United captain Kieran Trippier.

The 33-year-old Englishman is highly admired by Bayern coach Thomas Tuchel.

It is not ruled out that the clubs may make certain exchanges and Joshua Kimmich may move to the Newcastle team, as "Magpies" have serious problems in the safe sector.
