Munich's "Bayern" announced that in the fiscal year 2015-16 they recorded a record turnover.
In previous years, this amount was 523.7 million euros, while the new club numbers show even 628.8 million euros.
In the statement issued by the Bundesliga champions, it is also stated that growing revenues will be regularly invested in the main team and efforts will be made to keep it in the European elite.
The record was mostly contributed by sponsors and marketing (169.8 million euros), club merchandise (108.2 million euros), TV broadcast rights (83.4 million) and profit from transfers (34.8 million euros).
