The future of Robert Lewandowski continues to remain under a huge question mark. The Polish football star still has a valid contract with Bayern Munich, but publicly expressed his desire to leave the current team and move to Barcelona. However, it seems that the German champions are holding their position that the team's attacking leader will remain in Munich for at least one more season.
Bayern's sporting director Hasan Salihamidžić, speaking to Bild, stated that he expects R. Lewandowski to join the team on July 12th, when the first training camp begins. "Our position is very clear. Robert has a valid contract until 2023. We are not concerned about new offers from Barcelona. I hope to see Lewandowski in training on July 12th," said H. Salihamidžić.
