On Saturday in the German Bundesliga, the so-called "Der Klassiker" took place. Munich's "Bayern" defeated Dortmund's "Borussia" at home with a score of 4:2. The BVB started the match brilliantly - Erling Haaland scored a double in the 2nd and 9th minutes. Robert Lewandowski responded with a double of his own in the same match, scoring in the 26th and 44th minutes. The scoreboard showed a tied result until the final moments of the match, but in the 88th minute "Bayern" took the lead with a goal from Leon Goretzka. BVB's hope of at least fighting for a point was shattered a few minutes later as R. Lewandowski completed a "hat-trick". "Bayern" continues to lead the Bundesliga standings, while BVB is in second place.
