Midfielder position in Munich's "Bayern" team is simply overloaded. However, now there will be one less player. German Sebastian Rudy will continue his career in Gelsenkirchen's "Schalke" team.
The latter paid 16 million euros for the footballer. "Schalke" signed a four-year contract with the German, which will be valid until the end of June 2022.
"I like the direction that 'Schalke' is heading and I wanted to be a part of it. I am looking forward to playing in front of this team's fans," said S. Rudy.
German joined the "Bayern" team a year ago, and the acquisition of the player cost nothing to the Bavarian team.
S. Rudy became a Bundesliga champion with "Bayern" and last season scored one goal and made five assists in 35 matches.
