In Germany, on Saturday, the matches of the 14th round of the Bundesliga were played.
Munich's "Bayern" tried to recover from their loss at home against "Hannover". They didn't have an easy game, but still managed to achieve a victory with a score of 3-1.
In the 17th minute, Arturo Vidal put the Bavarians in the lead. In the 29th minute, the opponents had a chance to equalize, but failed to convert a penalty kick.
However, the equalizing goal still soon followed - in the 35th minute, Charlison Benschop scored against the opponents' goal.
In the second half, "Bayern" was determined to prevail and extended their lead - Kingsley Coman restored the advantage in the 67th minute, and Robert Lewandowski secured the victory from the penalty spot at the end of the match.
“Bayern” solidifies their leadership position - they are now ahead of “Leipzig” by six points.
In other matches, Dortmund's "Borussia" failed to return to the path of victories, drawing away with Leverkusen's "Bayer". Kevin Volland put "Bayer" in the lead, but at the end of the first half, the hosts were reduced to ten men and allowed Andrej Yarmolenko to score the equalizer in the 73rd minute.
"Borussia" now has 22 points. They already have a 10-point gap from the leading "Bayern".
Other matches ended with some unexpected results - Leipzig's failure against Hoffenheim, and wins for Augsburg and Werder.
