"Bayern" held a special press conference – Catching both the media and former player

Niko Kovač, upon leaving the press conference, which was held on the occasion of the upcoming German Bundesliga championship match, wished good luck to the journalists present in the room. As it soon became clear, journalists needed luck and patience - immediately after the coach's press conference, the three most important people of the Bayern club came to the press room: Uli Hoeness, Karl-Heinz Rummenigge and Hasan Salihamidžić. Their specially organized press conference was not accidental - the club can no longer afford to deal with the media, which, according to the mentioned leaders, does not allow the head coach or the players to work successfully. "What we read in the press after the match with the Dutch is not journalism. The media attacked not the entire team, but individual players, especially those who belong to the Bayern team. Human dignity is more important than anything else. We will no longer tolerate this at Bayern," - Rummenigge started the press conference with sharp words aimed at the country's press. "I can't believe what I read about Manuel Neuer. He is a four-time best goalkeeper on the planet. Without exaggeration, he is a goalkeeper who has created a different game in that position. We also read about Boateng and Hummels and we realized that all decency limits have already been exceeded. This also applies to Arjen Robben and Franck Ribery. The media always tries to remind their age and the fact that both are declining in their careers. The truth is that both Arjen and Franck are players who have won absolutely everything. The constant question of age seems disrespectful to the players. We will no longer tolerate this. We have sent an official statement urging Bild to stop spreading false information about us. This is due to the incorrect information about Tolisso's injury and about the Borussia player Sancho. We will protect our players, team, and coach," - Rummenigge explained the truth to the gathered journalists in a stern tone. His longtime friend reiterated the most important club figure - Hoeness: "The media's attitude towards us is funny. We can accept criticism of our players, but we will not tolerate disrespectful information about them." As the press conference gained pace and heated emotions on both sides, Hoeness directed criticism towards the now former team player Juan Bernat, whom he blamed for almost eliminating Bayern from the UEFA Champions League in the past because of his mistakes. The anger of Bayern's leaders was specifically aimed at one media channel - Bild.
