The leader of the German football championship, Munich's Bayern, defeated Mönchengladbach's Borussia 1-0 and secured their 19th victory in 25 rounds.
Thomas Muller scored the winning goal in the 63rd minute.
In another match, Schalke also won 1-0 against FSV Mainz. Sead Kolašinac scored the goal in the 50th minute.
