After this season, Munich's "Bayern" will part ways with head coach Thomas Tuchel, and the German club is actively looking for a new strategist.
Journalist Fabrizio Romano announces that "Bayern" officials have already begun to negotiate contract details with Austrian national team coach Ralf Rangnick. It is the 65-year-old German who has become the main contender to take the helm of the multiple-time country champions.
It is added that negotiations between R. Rangnick and "Bayern" are already at an advanced stage.
The decision of R. Rangnick is also awaited by the Austrian Football Federation, which has a contract with the specialist until the summer of 2026.
