"Bayern" manager confirmed that R. Sanches will move to "Swansea"

Munich's "Bayern" executive director Karl-Heinz Rummenigge confirmed that the club's talent Renato Sanches will be loaned out to "Swansea City".

The 20-year-old, who excelled both at Lisbon's "Benfica" and in the European Championship, arrived in Germany last season for 35 million euros, but his first season in the country did not go well.

In order to get more playing time, the Portuguese now needed to find a new team, which will be last season's "Swans" who fought for survival in the "Premier" league.

"We wanted Renato Sanches to join a club where he could play at a high level and where he would have a coach who wants him," Rummenigge told Kicker.

"Renato needs to compete all year round, and this is not guaranteed given the strength of our squad."

According to Kicker, "Swansea" will pay 8.5 million euros for Sanches' loan, but there will be no clause to buy the contract.

At the moment, the club in Wales is led by Paul Clement, who previously worked as an assistant to Carlo Ancelotti at "Bayern" last season.
