The new Munich "Bayern" club attacking midfielder Mario Götze is successfully recovering from a calf injury, however, he will likely have to miss the start of the season.
The 21-year-old player suffered this injury while still playing for Dortmund's "Borussia" club, when the German team were forced to surrender to Madrid's "Real" in the UEFA Champions League semi-finals.
Later, Götze missed several last season matches, including the Champions League final against his future teammates from Munich.
The injury turned out to be more serious than initially thought and the "Bayern" team will have to start the season without the help of the 21-year-old.
Munich's "Bayern" club acquired one of the most promising football players in the world for 37 million euros. The future transfer was announced early in the spring. This was the first wish of the new team's coach Pep Guardiola, despite the fact that officially he only took over the Bavarian team on July 1st.
