This summer could mark the end of another era of a long-time Munich "Bayern" player in the Bavarian team.
"Bild" reports that "Bayern" is willing to say goodbye to Jerome Boateng. This summer, Mats Hummels has already left the team, and Boateng may follow his path.
According to the mentioned source, the Bavarians are willing to negotiate the sale, but they still hope to receive 25 million euros for him.
"Bayern" has three options in the center-back position without Boateng - Niklas Sule, Lucas Hernandez, and Benjamin Pavard. In case of emergency, Javi Martinez can also play in this position.
At the beginning of this summer, the 30-year-old footballer was linked with Premier League clubs, but the transfer window in England has already closed, so the German would have to look for other options.
Boateng has been playing for "Bayern" since 2011 and has played in almost 300 matches.
