"Bayern" plans to shake up the player market by acquiring L. Hernandez

Munich's "Bayern" intends to make the most expensive player transfer in the history of the "Bundesliga."

The Bavarian club plans to activate an €85 million buyout clause that connects Madrid's "Atletico" and defender Lucas Hernandez. This would be the largest amount ever paid by a "Bundesliga" club.

The Frenchman made his debut at "Atletico" in 2014 and has since become an important player for the team. The defender has also been a key part of the French national team, which won the World Cup last summer.

Currently, Lucas Hernandez's contract with "Atletico" is valid until 2024, but according to Spanish media reports, his time in Madrid could come to an end this winter.

Hernandez can play both as a left-back and a central defender.
