Quite unexpectedly, Munich's „Bayern“ played at home with „Arminia“ footballers and the game ended in a 3-3 draw. The guests were leading 2-0 after the first half, with goals scored by Michelas Vlapas and Amosas Pieperas in the 9th and 37th minutes respectively. Robert Lewandowski scored in the 48th minute to reduce „Bayern“'s deficit, but just a minute later „Arminia“ restored their two-goal lead after a precise shot by Christian Gebauer. „Bayern“ managed to at least earn a point: Corentin Tolisso scored in the 57th minute, and Alphonso Davies equalized in the 70th minute.
