The hosts took the lead already in the 12th minute after a precise shot by Thomas Muller, but the score was equalized by Andre Silva in the 27th minute. The score remained level until the 44th minute, when "Bayern" once again took the lead through Robert Lewandowski. In the 53rd minute, the score was leveled again by Christopher Nkunku's goal. However, just five minutes later, "RB Leipzig" defender Josko Gvardiolas sent the ball into his own goal, which later turned out to be the decisive moment of the match.
