"Bayern" won after a tough fight, "Schalke" failed to rise to second place (VIDEO)

Two more meetings to play in the Bundesliga championship. In the first of them, the footballers of Munich's Bayern defeated Bremen's Werder after a fierce battle at the Allianz Arena stadium.

Although the hosts dominated in terms of ball control, the first danger signal was sent by Jerome Gondorf in the 25th minute.

Then the hosts managed to recover when Thomas Muller and Robert Lewandowski scored, but in the middle of the second half, the opponents' sniper Max Kruse managed to create another great opportunity. The German lifted the corner, after which Niklas Sule scored an own goal.

However, the visitors did not rejoice for long - Lewandowski soon struck again with a header, giving the advantage to the leaders of the German championship and they eventually secured another three points. Thomas Muller added another goal at the end. In total, Bayern now have 47 points and lead their closest pursuers with a solid advantage.

In the final match, Schalke failed to take advantage of RB Leipzig's misfortune, which allowed them to rise to second place in the league table. Domenico Tedesco's team at home lost to Hannover.

The hosts almost led throughout the match after Marko Pjaca's precise shot, but they failed to increase their advantage and ultimately suffered because of it - in the 86th minute, Schalke's two points were taken away by Niclas Fullkrug.

After the 19th round of the Bundesliga, the team from Gelzenkirchen will have to settle for third place.
