The Munich team „Bayern“ - on a quest.
In recent seasons, the multiple German champions have been unsuccessfully searching for new coaches and those decisions have cost them a significant amount of money.
The publication „Bild“ has calculated that after the departure of strategist Hansi Flick in 2021, the „Bayern“ club spent a total of 62.5 million euros on the buyouts, salaries, and compensations for Juliano Nagelsmann, Thomas Tuchel, and the future coach Vincent Kompany.
During this period, the Germans did not shine in the UEFA Champions League tournament, but they were able to win several trophies in their homeland.
In 2022 and 2023, „Bayern“ became the Bundesliga champions, and in 2022 they also won the country's Super Cup.
