Before "Deportivo," Catalonia will not play with the strongest lineup

Even after three consecutive failures in the Spanish championships, "Barcelona" is not in the best mood heading to La Coruna, where they will test their strength in a duel with "Deportivo" at the "Riazor" arena.

For the 34th round match, Luis Enrique invited 18 of his players to prepare, but the official signing of the Catalonian team still surprised observers.

Aleix Vidal, who recovered from an injury suffered during training a week and a half ago, is not registered for the match. The reason for the absence of this summer-acquired defender who only started playing in January remains unknown even to the Catalan media. It is also surprising that Douglas Pereira, who was rarely included in matches throughout the season, is now included in the lineup.

As per the coach's decision, the third goalkeeper Jordi Masip is also not registered for the match at the "Riazor" arena, and other players cannot play due to health problems. These include Sandro Ramirez, Thomas Vermaelen, and Jeremy Mathieu.

In tonight's match, Barcelona will also be without the suspended Gerardo Pique. The critical moment for the defender came in last weekend's match against "Valencia" when he received his fifth yellow card of the season.

Players registered for the match with "Deportivo":

Goalkeepers: Claudio Bravo, Marc-Andre ter Stegen;

Defenders: Dani Alves, Jordi Alba, Javier Mascherano, Marc Bartra, Adriano Correia, Douglas Pereira;

Midfielders: Andres Iniesta, Sergio Busquets, Ivan Rakitic, Sergi Roberto, Arda Turan, Rafinha;

Forwards: Lionel Messi, Neymar, Luis Suarez, Munir El Haddadi.
