London's "Chelsea" club legend Frank Lampard is hoping to take advantage of his status before the Carabao Cup match against their team.
The Englishman, who currently coaches the "Derby" team, has a request for his former team. In the last round, the "Derby" club eliminated Manchester United's opponents Chelsea, and Lampard will seek the club's favor.
Chelsea has loaned Mason Mount and Fikayo Tomori to the Derby club, although the loan conditions are that they cannot play against the London team.
"It's a discussion with the Chelsea team and everything depends on them. I hope my years spent in this team will influence their decision. Of course, as a long-time Chelsea player, I am very happy to have defeated Man. United, and I hope the London club will take that into consideration," the Englishman said.
