Before the start of the "Premier" league, G. Arlauskis was visited by geese.

Last week, before the start of the English football championship, the goalkeeper of the "Watford" team Giedrius Arlauskis spent time in his homeland.

The English club, with which the 27-year-old Lithuanian signed a three-year contract in the summer, allowed their goalkeeper to return home for an important reason.

At the beginning of the week, G. Arlauskis's daughter was born, whom the footballer and his wife named Dite.

This is the second daughter in the Arlauskis family.

On Saturday, after an eight-year break, "Watford" club will start the third stage in the highest English football league with a match against Liverpool's "Everton".

G. Arlauskis will miss this and the second round match due to disqualification, which followed him from Romania.

Last season, the best Lithuanian footballer of 2014, who defended the goal of Bucharest's "Steaua", was punished with a red card during the last Romanian championship match, in which the Bucharest players secured the country's champions title.

"Mistakes must be paid for," admitted G. Arlauskis, who got into a conflict with the referee during the last match in Romania. "At that time, the most important thing for me was the affairs of 'Steaua' - it was the final match that determined the title of the Romanian champions.

"I am to blame myself, I did it to myself. But it's nothing - I will have time to better prepare for my debut in the English championship."

Arlauskis in the Saturday issue of the newspaper "Lietuvos rytas".
