London club strategist Arsene Wenger revealed that the team's striker Nicklas Bendtner will have to miss the start of the new season due to a recurring groin injury.
The Danish national team player underwent surgery in November due to the nagging issue, but according to the 22-year-old footballer himself, he is still struggling to get out of bed.
Bendtner himself attributes the injury to a car accident he suffered in September.
The Gunners' coach also admitted that it remains unclear whether World Cup stars Cesc Fabregas and Robin van Persie will recover in time for the start of the new Premier League season in South Africa.
