On Wednesday evening, in the first leg of the Champions League quarter-finals held in Lisbon, "Benfica" defeated "Brugge" with a score of 2:0.
"Brugge" managed to send the ball into the net first, but Denis Odoi's precise strike in the 45th minute was disallowed after a VAR review.
"Benfica" scored their goals in the second half. Joao Mario converted a penalty in the 51st minute, and David Neres found the net in the 88th minute.
The second leg will take place in Lisbon on March 7.
