Giovanni Trapattoni, who recently took over the helm in Lisbon, would like to see three players from Serie A in his new team.
The list starts with a defender. After AC Milan acquired Nicolas Burdisso, this player's chances of making it into the team significantly decreased. Trap knows Adani well, whom he has worked with at the club, and hopes to strengthen his current club's defense with this player.
Another "Internazionale" player could also end up in Lisbon, who also rarely appears in the "nerazzuri" main lineup.
Trapattoni also hopes to secure a defender whose contract is expiring in a year. Roma club is facing financial problems and it is uncertain whether they will extend this contract.
