Lisbon's „Benfica“ owners believe they have a true golden nugget in their ranks. As journalist Fabrizio Romano reported, in the last days of January, the Portuguese refused to sell forward Darwin Nunez to London's „West Ham“ team, even with a proposed 48 million euro offer. The main motivation of the club is that they believe the 22-year-old Uruguayan is worth much more money, and next summer he will be one of the most sought-after footballers in all of Europe. In this season's Portuguese championship, D. Nunez scored 15 goals and made 2 assists in 16 matches.
