Benitez: We lack trust, but we can win the "Premier" league © EuroFootball.com

After two consecutive goalless draws, London's "Chelsea" team coach Rafael Benitez was once again booed by their own fans, but he did not lose optimism.

Although the capital team's attacks in the derby against London's "Fulham" were dull and rarely posed a threat, the Spaniard believes that the club can still triumph in the English championship.

"Why not?," he rhetorically asked. "There are still many matches left, so we have to try because we will have opportunities. Remember last season, when 'Man City' was leading and it seemed all clear. In the end, they had to win the last game. The season is long."

Benitez noted that the "Chelsea" players who have not won six consecutive matches are lacking confidence in themselves.

"The most important thing is to win. If we do that, we will be contenders to win in all the tournaments we participate in," the specialist considered. "When we get back on the path of victories, we will regain confidence. For now, we have had too few training sessions to change anything, but I have also seen positive things."

About the booing, Benitez added: "Fans have to understand that only by supporting the team and the coach will they find the best way forward and victories."
