Milan strategist Rafael Benitez reassured his team after losing to Rome's "Lazio" club that things were not going well for them.
After the failure, the most powerful European team of the last season is barely in sixth place in the tournament table and may lose it if the closest pursuers win.
"The ball was rolling for the opponents, but not for us," said the Spaniard. "Lazio" played great, but the difference is that they were successful, and we were not."
Rome's eleven led 1-0 after the first half, and doubled the lead at the beginning of the second. Goran Pandev later softened the gap, but Hernanes secured the victory 3-1.
"After the break, we played much better, the players tried to score until the end," Benitez said. "We had to react and we did, but we need to score first, otherwise it's very difficult."
