„Manchester United“ has reached an agreement with „Besiktas“ for goalkeeper Victor Valdes to move to the Turkish club, according to sources from „Sky Sports“.
„Besiktas“ coach Senol Gunes will decide in the near future whether he needs the Spanish player in his team or not, and then the Turks will negotiate personal terms with the former „Barcelona“ player.
There is a good chance that the transfer will ultimately take place, and V. Valdes will complete his tragic career phase in Manchester.
He played only two matches at the end of last season. This summer, „Manchester United“ coach Louis van Gaal left V. Valdes at home during the club's tour in the USA, despite the uncertain future of another goalkeeper, David de Gea.
L. van Gaal later admitted that V. Valdes refused to play for „Man United“ U-21 team and clearly said that he does not see a future for himself at „Old Trafford“.
